Pricing Analyst Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 A vacancy has arisen within our UK Commercial Lines insurance pricing team at Aviva. We are looking for a pricing analyst to assist in the development and implementation of technical and market pricing for a subset of our UK Commercial Lines products. A bit about the job: The UK Commercial Lines pricing team is based in London, Norwich & Perth, with time split between the office and working from home. Part of the team is responsible for reviewing and changing prices for Commercial Lines products and the other part is focussed on the development of analytical tools to assist in this. This role could fit into either or both categories depending on the successful candidate. Working within a team of pricing experts, the role will be responsible for delivering accurate and robust technical and market pricing on commercial lines of business and for developing and enhancing the analytical framework that supports this. The role's duties & responsibilities: Analysis of live pricing ensuring that it is accurate and robust Development of analytical tools to support pricing recommendations Making pricing recommendations based on commercial / market feedback Supporting the delivery of the financial plan Contribution to constructive intra-team working and personal development agendas Skills and experience we're looking for: Highly numerate with strong analytical capability Strong PC skills including expertise in Microsoft Office and coding in Python and/or R Works in a collaborative manner with peers High levels of enthusiasm with excellent interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication skills What you'll get for this role: Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
