As a Sales Manager, reporting to the Senior Rental Sales Manager, you will drive new business development and manage key accounts to maximise rental sales.
Responsibilities:
* Thoroughly understand client needs and collaborate on service delivery plans.
* Win new business accounts aligning with the ideal client profile.
* Prospect weekly across multiple channels to maintain a healthy sales funnel.
* Plan and prioritise activities based on client buying cycles and sales progression.
* Effectively onboard rental customers and generate rental reports on client activities.
* Implement profitable rate cards for key rental accounts.
* Drive rental utilisation in line with, and above, annual budgets.
* Forge and nurture strong partnerships with ideal customer profiles.
* Produce rental reports on client activities.
* Stay updated on commercial vehicle specifications, operational constraints, auxiliary equipment, relevant legislation, and market trends.
* Support colleagues in understanding the client to ensure exceptional service.
Requirements:
* Previously worked as a Sales Manager or in a similar role.
* Experience in commission-based sales within a highly competitive market.
* Backgrund in team selling.
* Successful track record in a target-driven outbound sales environment.
* Skilled in cold calling to secure appointments and negotiating mutually beneficial outcomes.
