Job Overview This is a rare opportunity to join the Integrated Specialist Public Health Nursing Service (ISPHNS) as a Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW). You will work as part of the Central team and as a Healthcare Support Worker you will work with colleagues to deliver the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) and health promotion activities in Primary Schools across Hull. This is a term time only contract (30 hours a week in term time only) Main duties of the job As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will work with colleagues to deliver the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) which involves recording the height and weight of children in Reception and school year 6. Additionally, you will plan and deliver health promotion activities in Hull. Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria NVQ Level 3, Vocational Qualifications level 3, GCE AS and A Level, Baccalaureate Qualification or equivalent level of knowledge. Awareness of mental health or learning disability issues. Desirable criteria Knowledge and understanding of mental health or learning disability issues. Experience Essential criteria Experience of working with or providing support to the general public. Experience of using a range of MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc. Skills And Competencies Essential criteria Able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal communication skills. Able to plan and prioritise effectively and efficiently.
