Leading a team of circa 1,100 Project, Programme and Construction Management professionals, the postholder will be a respected senior leader working within the Programme Management community. Reporting to the Global Head of Project, Programme and Construction Management, the role will be the key interface for the Centre of Excellence across the European business. The postholder will combine this accountability with working on assignments and will be supported by Project Programme and Construction Management sponsors within the property and infrastructure markets.

You’ll be responsible for:
* Working with the Consult Global CoE lead to deliver the Consult Plan & agreed PPM CoE framework in the Europe Hub for all markets and submarkets.
* Identifying and scoping Europe Hub CoE requirements & leading the delivery of the CoE plan for the Hub (as agreed with CoE lead).
* Sitting on the UK & Europe Consult Board & managing relationships with senior stakeholders (internal & external) across the Regional Hub.
* Leading & deploying the Mace Way standards and processes across the UK & Europe Hub.
* Assuring standards and processes through an audit regime across the UK & Europe Hub.
* Building a UK & Europe Community to feed into the Global CoE and Consult Centre of Excellence, bringing the Community together to learn, connect and capture feedback & lessons learnt.
* Keeping up to date with innovations in the service line, competitor and partner activity, feeding back to the CoE.
* Identifying, coaching and mentoring talent, supporting professional development and global mobility.
* Building capability in the UK & Europe Hub, assuring quality of training provision and as appropriate delivering training programmes.
* Identifying leads and opportunities, supporting the UK & Europe Hub in winning work and bidding.
* Involvement in Consult CoE activities and service development, mobilising regional volunteers.
You’ll need to have:
* Mastery in Programme Delivery.
* In-depth knowledge of Mace procedures by role.
* Awareness of contract & commercial procedures and Hub P&L.
* Experience across several market sectors.
* Excellent communication (written, verbal & presentational) skills, alongside the ability to assure service delivery and provide meaningful / actionable insights.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Up to date on key tools available in the market in the service delivery arena.
* Achieved Membership / Fellow / Certified Fellow status with one or more professional institutions.
* External networking, collaboration & business development skills. May represent Mace on professional institution / industry wide committees / boards.
