You You’ll be a Client Director with 6-10 years’ experience working for a brand design agency – you are an entrepreneurial and enthusiastic leader with a tangible track record of developing business and nurturing an exceptional team. You will be confident and skilled at independently creating growth through your clients and seamlessly delivering projects from start to finish. With the experience to actively drive the strategy and delivery of client development plans; the gravitas and energy to engage senior clients and the ambition to develop and build long-term client relationships both at an organisational and individual level. Your skills 6-10 years’ exp. working in a brand design agency in client management and team leadership Highly effective Client / Account developer with a proven track record Strong ability to champion and grow key client relationships at all levels Outstanding presentation skills (creation delivery) confident, articulate, engaging, inspiring Experience growing junior talent – from search and interview through to mentoring and development plans Generally skilled at mentoring and developing talent Exceptional team leadership and management skills Deep understanding budgets, targets and financial oversight Has superb people and communication skills Identifies and communicates in a way that embodies our values The Role Based out of our Central London Studio reporting to our Business Director with autonomy across your designated clients. Current projects include brand positioning, architecture, innovation, creation, renovation (identity & packaging re-design), sub-brand range extensions, activation (social content & in-store), guidelines/playbooks, internal branding & communication, plus animation & video. Areas of Responsibility Create and drive, effective client development plans for all accounts – quarterly and annual Gain insight and detailed understanding of client brand/business, challenges and ambitions enabling active relationship development Proactively create, spot, nurture and deliver development opportunities Write clear and compelling project proposals for any size and complexity/value of project, with an expert understanding of resource needs and budget calculation Present complex proposals with total clarity and verve, including negotiation Actively use the concept of value versus rates/time, and manage profitability Manage and develop the team to create high quality project plans with a thorough understanding of both the project deliverables and the team’s capacity, ensuring projects are resourced with the best possible skills match Ability to write insight led creatives briefs and encourage the agency to go beyond the brief in the context of added value that supports the client/ agency relationship Create and deliver compelling presentations that engage and inspire your team and clients A strong leader able to make confident, critical judgements and develop a team Direct responsibility for search and recruitment of junior talent as required Direct responsibility to teach, grow, mentor and develop junior team talent Oversee and direct team talent to effectively meet deliverables Be able to manage up and down as required and be a great communicator to the senior management team and a fantastic mentor to juniors Take an empathetic approach to leadership and management encouraging collaboration and growth in-line with agency values Proactively champion Connect in Full - Found, Understood, Loved, Lived - as a way of commutating and thinking Possess strong financial awareness of profitability and targets with a deep knowledge of client development objectives Key contributor to the welfare, health and atmosphere of the agency as a whole Enable clarity and add value in all you do Our Benefits & Perks Values led business 25 days annual leave (excluding public holidays) with the option to buy/sell 5 days Private medical care Life assurance Discretionary pension and bonus scheme Enhanced maternity benefits Hybrid working model - currently 3 days in, 2 days remote Career Development Programme Education and training allowance Cycle to work scheme; childcare voucher scheme Monthly cultural & social events Tate Membership
