We are seeking a talented and experienced IT and Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, networking, and troubleshooting, along with solid problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and network infrastructure to support our business operations, with a particular focus on ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance.
2. Providing day-to-day support by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity for all users.
3. Ensuring the security of the organization’s network and systems by implementing and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols, as well as performing regular security assessments and updates.
4. Manage the onboarding process by configuring and provisioning hardware, and ensuring proper user account setup and access control.
5. Ensure timely compliance of IT and network operations with industry standards and regulations, including ISO27001, CE, CE+, ISO20000, and others.
6. Facilitate knowledge-sharing and conduct security awareness training to strengthen cybersecurity practices across the organization.
7. Support quarterly IT inventory assessments and represent IT in cross-functional projects to align technology with organizational goals.
Qualifications/Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience as an IT and Network Engineer or similar role, with a focus on IT infrastructure and network administration.
3. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs), firewall management, and IT security practices.
4. Experience with network monitoring solutions (PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix) and virtualization technologies (ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V).
5. Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001) is a plus.
6. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, MCSA) are desirable.
7. Experience with Microsoft 365, including administration and troubleshooting of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
8. Proficiency with Azure services, including Azure Active Directory (AAD), Virtual Machines, Networking, and Security management.
9. Experience in cloud solutions like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
10. Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools such as Azure Entra ID, Active Directory, and LDAP.
11. Knowledge of endpoint management using tools like Microsoft Intune or SCCM.
12. Ability to apply backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam or Acronis.
13. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
