SHEQ Advisor\n\nOur client, a prominent leader in the power utilities sector, is seeking a skilled SHEQ Advisor to ensure the highest standards of health and safety compliance across various power distribution and energy projects. This permanent role offers a unique opportunity for individuals dedicated to safety in the high-stakes energy industry.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nConducting safety audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards\nFacilitating inductions and toolbox talks (TBT) briefings to promote safety awareness\nInvestigating accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures\nReviewing and approving Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)\nEnsuring compliance with regulations such as PAT Testing & NERS / ISO standards\nMaintaining high standards of health and safety on site, with regular visits to project locations across the UK\nProviding first aid and emergency response training to team members\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nUnderstanding of health and safety standards in the utilities, Highways or Civil Engineering sector\nCSCS card and CITB Health & Safety Awareness certification\nEmergency First Aid qualification\nIOSH certification\nProficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nExperience with NEBOSH certification, auditing, and mental health first aid (desirable)\n\nBenefits:\n\nStarting salary ranging from £42,000 - £48,000 per annum\nCompany vehicle and fuel card\nReceive PPE, phone, and laptop for efficient work performance\n20 days holiday plus bank holidays\nComprehensive pension contribution\nOpportunity for career progression into SHEQ managerial roles\nIf you are passionate about ensuring safety and compliance in the utility industry and are eager to contribute to impactful projects across the UK, we encourage you to apply now and join our client's dedicated team
