Role overview:
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager with strong leadership and communication abilities to guide their team towards achieving sales and KPI targets while providing unparalleled service.
Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the Store Manager in effectively running all store operations to meet or exceed sales and KPI targets.
2. Setting clear sales goals, tracking performance, and evolving processes to ensure continuous store growth.
3. Creating a positive team culture through recruiting, training, and continuously developing staff.
4. Building a motivated and high-performing team to increase chances of store success.
5. Analyzing sales data and financial reports to make quick, well-informed decisions alongside the Store Manager, identifying and responding to operational and commercial opportunities.
Role objectives and KPIs:
1. Support the Store Manager in ensuring the store achieves the highest level of customer satisfaction by driving and maintaining exceptional service standards and promptly addressing customer needs.
2. Drive store sales through effective merchandising, stock replenishment, and team motivation.
3. Monitor and drive all key performance indicators such as Sales, Conversion, Units, and more.
4. Support the Store Manager in optimizing financial performance by effectively managing costs, including audit compliance and wage costs.
5. Foster a positive work environment by leading, mentoring, and developing store colleagues to enhance their performance and engagement.
Skills and Experience:
1. Experience in implementing, tracking, and refining store operational processes to achieve maximum efficiency and KPI results.
2. Passion and confidence in leading and supporting your team through their career development.
3. An ability to interpret and react commercially to financial reports to support store sales growth.
