The Job
The People Coordinator provides administrative support to the People department, ensuring the efficient running of People operations. The role involves handling employee queries, maintaining HR records, supporting with the onboarding of new joiners and assisting with recruitment and training processes.
HR Administration:
* Maintain employee records and update HR databases (e.g., attendance, annual leave).
* Prepare and issue HR-related documents such as contracts, letters, and forms.
* Ensure all employee information is accurate and confidential.
Recruitment Support:
* Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and processing applications.
* Conduct reference checks and ensure all necessary pre-employment documents are received.
* Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing induction materials.
Employee Relations:
* Handle employee queries on HR policies and procedures.
* Support the HR team with disciplinary and grievance procedures when needed.
* Help with organizing employee engagement activities.
Training and Development:
* Assist in coordinating training sessions and maintaining training records.
* Track mandatory training requirements and completion.
Compliance and Reporting:
* Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
* Assist with preparing reports related to HR metrics, such as turnover rates and absence records.
Other Duties:
* Support special HR projects as required.
* Assist with payroll processing, such as checking timesheets and leave records.
Experience: Previous administrative experience, preferably within an HR environment.
Skills / Experience
Skills:
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Working Conditions:
* Office-based role, with potential hybrid working options.
* Opportunity for part time working between 26 - 38 hours per week.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
