Job summary The Senior Sister/Charge Nurse role is an exciting opportunity to develop your professional practice, leadership and management experience. This is a joint leadership role where two Ward Managers are responsible for the management of the 56 beds unit which includes a dedicated 11 bed Hi care Respiratory Support Unit. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated individual with a passion for ensuring quality driven care for respiratory patients. The successful candidate will show a commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and compassionate approach to leadership. We require an innovative self-motivated individual who is passionate about Respiratory team to join our team as a band 7 senior nurse, Excellent communication skills and self-awareness are required for your own and others well- The post holder will also contribute to respiratory team use your expert clinical knowledge, leadership skill for day to day patient management and within colleagues to embed a positive practice environment, the support changes to our services within the medicine division and wider developments within Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
