So as Financial Accounting Manager, what will you be doing? The main objectives of the Financial Accounting Manager are:
1. To manage an effective and efficient year end audit process
2. To manage relationships with auditors and taxation authorities
3. To act proactively in ensuring that the Group adopts and complies with all statutory accounting and tax regulations globally
4. To act proactively in managing the provision of appropriate analysis and information to optimise the treasury management of the Group globally and recommend cash management approaches to optimise liquidity
5. To manage proactively foreign exchange exposure globally for the Group
6. To ensure that the Group operates appropriate internal control processes globally
Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with PQE (ACCA, ACA) and have previous experience of management, audit with the Big 4, consolidating results, statutory accounts and foreign exchange and corporate tax/VAT.
They will be proactive and delivery focused, an excellent verbal and written communicator and self-motivated. They will have the ability to lead by example, and have effective time management and delegation skills.
