Regional Role, South-West London
Salary:
£38,000 - £45,000 dependent onexperience.
Contract:
Summer Contract with the following benefits:

MandatoryRequirements:
* HCPC and RCOTregistration
* Bachelor’s orMaster’s in Occupational Therapy
* Paediatric OT Experience

RoleOverview:
The Paediatric OccupationalTherapist plays a pivotal role in assessing the needs of a varietyof students for Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs) andproviding targeted and specialist interventions to support theirdevelopment. You will be working within a variety of schoolenvironments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams andteaching staff to ensure holistic care and embedded interventions.Additionally, the role involves training and upskilling teachingstaff to effectively support students' occupational therapygoals.
KeyResponsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of students'sensory, motor, and self-care skills to determine eligibility forOccupational Therapy provision within theirEHCP.
* Develop and implementindividualised intervention plans to address students' specificneeds and facilitate their participation in schoolactivities.
* Collaborateclosely with teachers, parents, and other professionals tointegrate occupational therapy goals into students' educationalplans and learning environment.
* Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation ofintervention effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary tooptimise outcomes.
* Conducttraining and support to teaching staff on strategies and techniquesto promote students' functional skills and independence within theclassroom setting.
* Maintainaccurate documentation of assessments, case notes, annual reviewreports and intervention plans in accordance with regulatorystandards and LCP policies.
* Participate actively in multidisciplinarymeetings to contribute expertise and ensure coordinated care forstudents with complex needs.
