Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Field Sales Operative to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will engage with potential venues to promote and sell ChargedUp charging stations. You’ll act as the face of ChargedUp, building relationships with venue managers and decision-makers while demonstrating the value of our products. The ideal candidate will be personable, tech-savvy, and confident working independently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Relationship Building:
o Visit potential partner venues (e.g., cafes, restaurants, bars, gyms) to pitch ChargedUp’s solutions and secure sales agreements.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with venue owners and managers.
o Identify new sales opportunities within your assigned territory.
2. Product Demonstration:
o Demonstrate the functionality and benefits of ChargedUp charging stations to venue teams.
o Clearly articulate the commercial and operational advantages for venues to join the ChargedUp network.
3. Negotiation and Closing:
o Negotiate terms of agreements, ensuring a win-win outcome for ChargedUp and the venue.
o Secure contracts and facilitate the onboarding process for new venue partners.
4. Market Intelligence:
o Gather feedback from venue owners and customers to identify market trends and areas for improvement.
o Monitor competitor activity and share insights with the sales team.
5. Administration and Reporting:
o Use CRM tools and mobile apps to log leads, track sales activities, and report progress.
o Submit regular updates to the Sales Manager on pipeline development and achieved targets.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Sales Expertise:
o Proven experience in field sales, account management, or business development.
o Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
2. Interpersonal Skills:
o Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
o Confident, persuasive, and customer-focused.
3. Technical Proficiency:
o Comfortable with using CRM tools, mobile apps, and IT systems to manage and report sales activities.
o Ability to understand and explain technical products.
4. Independent and Self-Motivated:
o Able to work autonomously, managing your time and schedule effectively.
o A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
5. Driving/Transport:
o Valid driving license and access to a car or motorbike (essential).
o Willingness to travel extensively within your assigned territory.
6. Other Requirements:
o Own a smartphone capable of running sales and reporting apps.
