About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students who require additional help within the classroom. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons. Providing one-on-one or small group support to students. Helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. While your primary focus will be working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) students, you may also provide general classroom cover as needed. What We’re Looking For We welcome applicants from various backgrounds. Ideal candidates will have: Experience working with children in professional (e.g., teaching assistant, support worker, youth worker) or personal (e.g., caregiving, volunteering) capacities. An interest in or experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), or challenging behaviors (advantageous but not essential). A calm, empathetic, and patient demeanor with the ability to build positive relationships. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
