Job Description
Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to work onsite within a south wales production / manufacturing company.
Duties:
* Lead and support the development and implementation of the Group Health, Safety & Environment
* Management (HSE) System in line with company expectations
* HSE requirements for company’s sites/businesses including development of local and group policies and procedures
* Maintenance of records. Working with designated departments as appropriate.
* Support of timely Accident/Incident and Good Save reporting, escalation, investigation and close.
* Support the project management of Group initiatives and projects.
* Collation and reporting of data and input to management and key stakeholders including for monthly performance meetings and reports.
* Support the businesses with regulatory compliance and certification including audits/inspections, responses, and corrective action plans.
* Delivery of relevant training requirements.
Skills / Qualifications:
* Must have 2 years plus experience within a similar role and be able to demonstrable experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Relevant qualification in HSE e.g. NEBOSH and IOSH Certificate.
* Good working knowledge of HSE legislation within a Manufacturing environment.
* Auditor Certified (e.g. ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 or equivalent) desirable.
* Experience of auditing and compliance assessment processes desirable.
