A globally renowned organisation, which delivers compelling packaging design and production, is seeking an outstanding Account Director to offer overall leadership to an assigned account team and to manage the European arm of a worldwide mega brand.
If selected for this role, it will be your responsibility to ensure projects are managed to time, resource, and budget. Additionally, the Account Director is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with both new and existing clients.
Job Description
To provide superior service to the business by:
1. Developing communication and promotional strategies for the brand(s) under your remit.
2. Providing excellent leadership and guidance to junior team members.
3. Building and maintaining strong, effective relationships with clients.
4. Preparing the yearly business plan in conjunction with senior team members.
5. Monitoring progress, analyzing, and reviewing results to facilitate improvements.
6. Controlling financial procedures and ensuring team targets are understood and met.
7. Generating additional briefs from existing clients through a full understanding of their needs and offerings.
8. Demonstrating insight into the marketing mix, including ATL, digital, design, experiential, promotional marketing, and PR.
9. Ensuring quality control within the team to meet or exceed client expectations.
10. Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and internal teams.
11. Managing the sell-in process of the company’s full offering to clients.
12. Recruiting and developing new team members.
13. Fostering team development through guidance and empowerment.
14. Managing account profitability, including marketing income and gross margin, to senior management.
15. Maintaining proper job documentation and timely billing.
16. Providing costings, managing WIP, and participating in fee negotiations.
17. Completing forecasts and developing the client’s business plan.
18. Presenting the company's vision and values, and introducing new clients to its unique selling points.
We seek a leader with strong project management, motivational skills, and strategic insight, capable of inspiring teams and influencing at senior levels. The ideal candidate will be tenacious, passionate, and has a proven track record with high-profile clients.
The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work from home part of the week.
