Harrogate (32 to 35 hours per week) Monday to Friday (on site)
Salary £53,000* to £55,000* per annum (based on 35 hours)
We are looking to recruit an excellent, enthusiastic HR Manager who will be responsible for all HR administration within the Charity. You will be responsible for delivering an excellent, high quality and efficient HR service to the Charity.
The role would suit an individual who has worked in an HR Advisory or Manager role, who has been responsible for all areas of HR administration as well as providing advice on HR related issues in line with ACAS guidelines, when required.
Accuracy, confidentiality, tact, diplomacy and the ability to handle multiple sources of information is key. Therefore, to be successful in this role you must have resilience and be good at managing your time as well as delivering a high level of provision.
The Police Treatment Centres offer intense residential physiotherapy and mental health/wellbeing treatment to serving and retired police officers and operates over two sites in Harrogate and Auchterarder.
Based in Harrogate, which is where you will spend the majority of your working time and reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this is a very hands-on role. You should have significant generalist experience and sound employment law knowledge.
In addition to day-to-day duties, this role will involve working on strategic business metrics e.g., Absence Management, Flexible Working, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Performance & Change Management and Policy development.
Supporting and guiding employees at all levels across both sites, it is essential you have the flexibility to be able to travel to Scotland (Auchterarder) on a monthly basis (We will provide transport and accommodation).
Preferably CIPD qualified, but more importantly substantial experience in a similar senior role, the confidence to build strong relationships, and flexibility.
