Job Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project and Planning Lead to join the LDA Collaborative working across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland on a fixed term/secondment basis for 12 months. The LDA Collaborative is committed to improving the lives of children, young people and adults with a learning disability and autistic people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. This post will provide vital project and planning support to enable the successful delivery of cross-cutting transformational priorities within the LDA transformation plan. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of partnership working with the ability to manage projects working across organisational boundaries. The post holder will have experience of monitoring delivery and performance against targets and the ability to accurately maintain large-scale plans and risk logs. They will need to support working groups to understand what they have achieved and to drive forward next steps to continue to improve outcomes. They will also be key in regularly bringing together all working group and project leads across the collaborative to enable sharing of information, joint working opportunities and identification of issues for escalation to the wider system. This role will be required to produce high quality data analysis, plans and reports. The post-holder will be required to manage relationships with a wide number of stakeholders and actively engage them to work collaboratively and effectively towards common goals. Drive reform and support organisational change and uptake of initiatives that support excellence and improvements in service user experience, Support the vision and Step Up To Great Initiatives for the Directorate and to communicate these across the pathway, both internally and externally. To work with the Service Manager to develop and implement strategic and operational policies which will underpin the vision of the LDA Collaborative across LLR To constantly review and identify local and national best practice and consider whether these can be brought into individual project areas and develop implementation plans and projects as appropriate.
