Reporting to the Finance Director, the Data Analyst will be responsible for the delivery of reporting on contractual, operational, quality, HR, recruitment, central service and wellness data; using good practice analytical tools. The post holder will ensure that the workstream of data delivery is planned and managed effectively and take the lead in their successful delivery. The Data Analyst is also responsible for extracting and submitting Emergency Care Data Set (ECDS) reports, ensuring timely and accurate data reporting in line with NHS requirements. This includes collecting, analysing, and validating data from relevant sources to maintain compliance and support decision-making in emergency care services. Key Responsibilities: Collect, clean, and interpret healthcare data to generate actionable insights Produce regular and ad hoc reports, including Emergency Care Data Set (ECDS) reporting, to support clinical and operational teams Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to identify key performance trends and opportunities for service improvement Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and alignment with NHS reporting standards What We re Looking For: Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within healthcare or a similar environment Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, or statistical software such as R or Python) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex data to non-technical stakeholders By joining our team, you will play an essential role in transforming data into meaningful outcomes that directly impact patient care and the service efficiency.
