Our Team
Our Tax and Trust Compliance team deals with a wide range of work for its Private and Court of Protection clients. As part of a dynamic law firm, we work closely with our lawyer colleagues, helping the firm's clients with their tax compliance.
Your Role and What You'll Be Doing
You'll provide day to day support and assistance to the team; you'll be responsible for the provision of high-quality administrative support, including the following:
Tax Compliance:
* General daily client correspondence
* Submit tax returns to HMRC
* Scanning & Photocopying
* Sending emails/letters to clients on fee earners behalf
* Run new business monthly reports
* Updating HMRC website with client details, checking tax payments due and downloading information for tax returns
* Making calls to HMRC
* Logging information received from clients
* File opening and setting up clients on the tax software
* Liaising with the Client Onboarding team and running SmartSearchs to verify clients identify
* Running reports from the tax software to prepare information requests and reminder emails/letters to clients
* Arranging payments
* Processing bills using our practice management system
About You
This is an administration role for a tax department within a law firm so we are looking for someone who has an interest in tax.
