Mae cyfle wedi codi i Swyddog Cynllunio ymuno â’r Tîm Rheoli Datblygu am gyfnod dros dro o 12 mis i gyflenwi cyfnod mamolaeth.
Bydd deiliad y swydd yn ymdrin â mân geisiadau cynllunio ac mae prif gyfrifoldebau’r swydd yn cynnwys:
• Prosesu ceisiadau cynllunio (a pherthnasol), yn cynnwys paratoi adroddiadau swyddogion achos/pwyllgor.
• Paratoi holiaduron apêl a datganiadau apêl cynllunio.
• Rhoi cyngor proffesiynol cyn cyflwyno cais i’r cyhoedd, Aelodau a datblygwyr ac ati drwy ein gwasanaeth cyngor cyn ymgeisio a’r llinell ffôn swyddog ar ddyletswydd dyddiol.
• Bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn gweithio fel rhan o dîm bychan a brwdfrydig a bydd gofyn iddynt gyfrannu’n gadarnhaol tuag at ddarparu gwasanaethau cynllunio yn y Fwrdeistref.
Dylai ymgeiswyr feddu ar Radd neu gymhwyster cyfwerth mewn Tref a Chynllunio neu ddisgyblaeth gysylltiedig, gwybodaeth am y System Gynllunio, yn arbennig y maes Rheoli Datblygu. Dylai ymgeiswyr hefyd feddu ar sgiliau cyfathrebu rhagorol ar lafar ac yn ysgrifenedig yn ogystal â sgiliau cyfrifiadurol. Mae gallu teithio ledled y sir yn ofyniad hanfodol o’r swydd hefyd

An opportunity has arisen for a Planning Officer to join the Development Management team for a temporary period of 12 months to cover maternity leave.
The post holder will be dealing with minor planning applications and the main responsibilities of the role include:
• Processing planning (and related) applications, including preparation of case officer/committee reports.
• To prepare appeal questionnaires and planning appeal statements.
• To provide planning advice to the public, Members and developers etc via our pre-application advice service and the daily duty officer phone line.
• The successful candidate will work as part of a small but enthusiastic team and will be required to contribute positively to the delivery of planning services in the Borough.
Candidates should have a Degree or equivalent in Town and Planning or a related discipline, and have knowledge of the Planning System, in particular Development Management. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills both oral and written and be computer literate. The ability to travel throughout the county is also an essential requirement of the post
