Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) specialise in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities.
We're on the hunt for a Customer Service Advisor/Driver to join our new site in Chelmsford, who's as passionate about great service as we are! This is a multi-skilled role covering all areas of our branch, giving you opportunity to learn and develop within the team.

Working Hours: 42.5 per week - 7.30 - 5.00 Monday to Friday (no weekends!)

Key Responsibilities
Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our JPS values
Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, manage stock control and keep customers updated throughout their journey
Pick and prepare customer orders in our warehouse and load onto customer and delivery vehicles
Delivery orders to our customers sites, using a 3.5t van around the Chelmsford area
Keep the branch and yard/warehouse looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
Required Skills and Experience
Valid UK driving license (no more than 6 points) is a requirement of this role
Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
Experience in a customer facing environment
IT literate and a strong communicator
Passion for working with people with a positive can-do attitude
