Job summary A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and competent person to join our busy HR department as a HR Advisor on a fixed term basis. Reporting to a Senior HR Advisors, the post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a proactive, effective and high quality Human Resource service to line managers and employees. Main duties of the job The HR team have a strong emphasis on partnering our services through a professional and credible HR service, and the HR Advisor will support the effective delivery of the People Strategy. Providing advice to managers within their areas of responsibility, the post holder will manage a busy workload offering advice on sickness management, flexible working, parental leave, retirement etc. As an ambassador for the HR team, you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a range of colleagues and managers. You will also have proven IT skills including use of MS Office packages.
