Maths Supply Teacher Portsmouth Full-time January - April 2025 (with potential for extension) Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a co-educational secondary school located in Portsmouth. They cater to students aged 11 to 16 and specialise in Business and Enterprise. The institution prides itself on being fully accessible, with numerous lifts and trolleys for disabled students. The have forged strong partnerships with the local business community, enhancing its educational offerings and providing students with valuable real-world experiences. They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Supply Teacher to join their team from January until April, with the possibility of extending. The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be passionate about delivering high-quality Maths lessons to students of varying abilities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson content in line with the curriculum and school standards. Mark and assess student's work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress. Monitor and evaluate students' progress, identifying and addressing areas for improvement. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in teaching and assessment. Adhere to the school’s policies on safeguarding, behaviour management, and professional conduct. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting. A strong subject knowledge and ability to adapt teaching to meet students' needs.
