Base pay range
A Group of some of the most on trend and popular clothing and footwear brands today are looking for a Technical Manager to manage a team of Garment Technologists across all named brand product areas of apparel, accessories and footwear.
You will be responsible for implementing new systems and processes to improve the technical operations of the business and will work closely with Brand Managers to ensure processes are adhered to, promoting efficient day-to-day operations.
You must be able to build strong relationships with factories and oversee supplier compliance through audits and action plans. This will involve conducting supplier and factory visits and liaising on construction-related queries.
Additional responsibilities include attending CAD review meetings, updating brand manuals, setting base and bulk testing requirements, checking test reports and production AQLs, leading fit sessions, creating a brand block library, reviewing customer feedback on fit, providing production grading to factories, and establishing a sustainability agenda.
We are looking for someone with 10+ years’ experience in a similar role, with knowledge of Jersey, Knit, and Woven product areas. You must be able to demonstrate proficiency in pattern cutting and grading and, ideally, have experience working with sustainable products.
