Entity: Customers & Products Job Family Group: Marketing Group Job Description: Would you like to be accountable for the Castrol EDGE brand across all channels (exclude OEMs)–power brands, flanker brands and variants? Focus is brand strategy, creative communication, brand health, Channel strategy, Mechanic advocacy and project leadership of the pipeline of OD&I projects. Castrol EDGE a key driver of growth and profit in the Lubricants business. EDGE is a portfolio with a turnover over one billion. This role also manages the product portfolio, works on OD&I projects for new product launches and administers deletions as approved by the personal mobility leader. Key Accountabilities Accountable for the Castrol EDGE brand strategy development and deployment globally with remit across channels (exclude OEMs) Accountable for product management of the EDGE product portfolio to include meeting complexity targets, profitability thresholds of product variants and proactive life-cycle management at end-of-life. Manage portfolio, including product stewardship, PBA, Streamline, ODIMS and OMS ASP management on Global EDGE budget Develop innovation strategy, work with PU/Market/Applied sciences on growth units on all OD&I projects on EDGE and inspire project teams to deliver on time – to increase market share and GM Develop deep insight into customer, consumer, channel needs and competitor responses, to develop Creative Communication across all relevant media Legal claims support in our biggest and most legally sensitive markets E-commerce branding strategy and ranges for Castrol EDGE – this will build up to 5-10% of the Castrol auto business in 2030 based on current trends The share size of EDGE has a big impact on financial delivery in China, Europe, US and some Aspac markets ( ANZ and Thailand ) Report month wise brand performance vs plan and LY on a monthly basis and suggest corrective actions to drive vol, turnover and GM and manage costs Work on connective actions with wider bp eg data and digital partnerships Any other activity the Personal Mobility Team Leader raises Candidate required skills and competencies Demonstrated ability in B2C and B2B Marketing including international FMCG companies or Marketing led companies Proven experience in Marketing leadership roles with a track record of working in B2B2C environments within a competitive market-oriented business culture Developing a Marketing Strategy : Mastery Brand and communications management : Expert Customer Value Proposition Development and Engagement : Expert Performance monitoring : Mastery Marketing Pricing management : Expert Sector, Market, Customer and Competitor Understanding : Mastery Project & Relationship Management : Expert Desirable MBA or equivalent post graduate degree in business or Marketing Why join us At bp, we provide an excellent working environment and employee benefits.
