We have an opportunity for a Network Services Senior Engineer to join our Technology team, based in Worcester. The main purpose of this role is to coordinate the development and delivery of Technology Network Services operations, providing technical expertise to support the delivery, design and continuous improvement of services in line with the Group's immediate and long term values and objectives.
The role of Network Services Senior Engineer will include:
* Manage the delivery of Infrastructure improvement and expansion projects working with technical specialists on time and within budget
* Co-ordinate the development and delivery of Network Services operations within technology infrastructure services to ensure that they are efficient, fit-for-purpose, robust and highly available to Group services
* Provide technical expertise to support the delivery of new and integrate existing Network Services technologies to meet the future needs of the Group
* Build, develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders
* Ensure Network Services technology systems are secure and robust to maximise system availability to business users across the Group
Skills and experiences:
* ITIL Foundation Certificate
* Qualifications in Cloud Solutions: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
* Proven experience of supporting the management of technology infrastructure in a large, complex organisation
* Significant experience with 3rd line technical query resolution including resolving technical infrastructure issues and root cause analysis
* Proven experience in supporting the management of medium to large scale infrastructure related projects
* Experience of people and stakeholder management

* Role salary is £43,325 with an additional policy allowance of £8,348 per annum (rising to £45,605 with an additional policy allowance of £8,788 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
