Our client is looking for a highly motivated medical secretary to work as part of a small team supporting highly-respected Doctors in Executive Health. Knowledge of the Arabic language would be helpful.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
* Owning patient care coordination and providing secretarial support to Consultants
* Building strong and trusting relationships with patients
* Scheduling complex workflows, managing phone calls and online requests
* Navigating correspondence with patients and healthcare providers, ensuring follow-up documentation is distributed
* Managing medical records, imaging, lab results etc
* Interacting on a daily basis with patients, customers, referring physicians, health staff and family members
The skills you need to bring:
* 5 years’ experience providing secretarial support in a fast-paced medical environment
* Patient focused and service orientated approach
* Ability to make independent decisions using sound judgement
* Ability to work quickly, sometimes under pressure, and always with impeccable attention to detail
* Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills essential
* Knowledge of the Arabic language would be beneficial
* Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and balance conflicting demands
* Strong keyboarding and computer skills
* Discretion and empathy
