We are looking for a part-time Fixed Penalty Notice Administrative Assistant to join our Education Welfare Service working 25 hours a week on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. About the team…
We are a small, dedicated and fast-paced team working closely with schools, Alternative Provisions, Early Help, Children's Social Care and Health Services to contribute to the best possible outcomes for children, young people and their families. You will have a big impact on what we do and you will be trusted to take ownership of your work. The work is varied, sometimes challenging with the opportunity to develop creative and innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities
* To provide administrative support to the Team Leader, Education Welfare, in respect of the application of the Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) policy/procedure.
* To undertake other administrative duties to support the overall efficiency of the EWS team, including liaising between schools and other agencies including timely response to emails, arranging meetings (virtual and face-to-face) when required and other administrative duties commensurate with the role.
* To manage the administration of payments received for all FPNs issued via online payment systems and revenue services.
* To support the EWS Team Leader in responding to FPN queries from both schools, other relevant agencies and families.
* To oversee the smooth running of and maintenance of office systems, ensuring databases are accurate and enable collation of information to respond to both national and local reporting when required.
