Overview: We seek a highly skilled Senior Systems Integration Engineer with expertise in integrating healthcare systems using the Cloverleaf Integration Engine. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of clinical and non-clinical applications, providing technical leadership for project and operational demands in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Systems Integration and Build: Lead the planning, implementation, and control of activities to integrate system components using the Cloverleaf Integration Engine.
* Healthcare Messaging & Integration: Develop, test, and support HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare messaging standards to ensure robust data exchange between systems.
* Technical Design & Architecture: Provide high-level and low-level technical designs for integration solutions, ensuring alignment with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical solutions and progress.
* Service & Performance Management: Ensure systems maintain high performance, availability, and security, developing roadmaps for future improvements.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
Essential:
* Proven technical experience integrating healthcare systems using the Cloverleaf Integration Engine.
* In-depth knowledge of HL7 messaging standards, including building, testing, and supporting healthcare interfaces.
* Experience designing and implementing Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solutions.
* Strong understanding of healthcare integration protocols (e.g., FHIR, IHE).
* Experience with systems integration in clinical environments, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in high-availability, mission-critical environments.
* Experience with scripting and customisation of integration engines.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for reviewing technical documentation and process maps.
* Demonstrated experience working in agile teams, particularly in healthcare IT environments.
Desirable:
* Experience with other integration engines, such as Mirth and Rhapsody.
* Experience with databases such as SQL Server.
* Previous experience in Electronic Health Record (EHR) integration projects.
* Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and API integration.
* Understanding healthcare regulations and standards, including GDPR, HIPAA, and NHS Digital requirements.
