Senior National Account Manager – Grocery 9-12 MONTH FTC
We're looking for a commercial powerhouse to take the reins of one of our biggest and most strategically important retail customers. This is a pivotal role focused on driving profitable growth across both our branded and own-label product portfolios—including existing core lines and exciting NPD launches.

What you’ll be doing:
* Take full ownership of the customer P&L, delivering against volume, value, and commercial margin targets.
* Lead the monthly commercial planning cycle—collaborating with Supply Chain and Finance to build accurate forecasts.
* Identify risks and opportunities to ensure the business is always ahead of the game.
* Partner with Trade Marketing to shape and execute customer-specific plans that deliver results.
* Align with Revenue Growth targets, ensuring all promotions and pricing strategies drive ROI.
* Launch NPD effectively and hit distribution goals while maximising profitability.
* Build a deep understanding of your customer’s strategy and work closely with internal teams to align plans and unlock growth.
* Be the internal voice of the customer—leading cross-functional engagement to support initiatives and execution.
* Co-develop and regularly review the customer sales strategy alongside the Business Unit Director.
* Implement a clear customer engagement plan across all functions and levels.
* Champion projects that evolve both branded and own-label propositions in line with customer needs.
* Execute pricing strategies (including increases) with confidence, balancing commercial goals with customer impact.
* Input into the annual budget planning process for your customer.
* Work proactively with Credit Control to resolve claims and ensure seamless trading.
What we’re looking for:
* 5+ years of experience in Sales, ideally in FMCG or food & drink.
* Strong communicator—both written and verbal—with great influencing skills.
* Financially savvy with a knack for turning numbers into action.
* Skilled in managing complex customer forecasts and full P&L responsibility.
* A sharp commercial mind—you get what drives profitability and know how to deliver it.
* Proven experience building strategic customer relationships and managing key accounts.
* Comfortable analysing data to track performance and inform decisions.
* Confident networker across internal and external stakeholders.
* Tech-fluent—experienced in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and retailer data tools like Dunnhumby or Retail Link.
