Experience and knowledge in the key competency areas for the Project Manager Assistant’s role is important but we are also seeking people with the right drive and potential. Where does this role fit in? You will help us to deliver a high-quality service to our customers, coordinating and managing defects resulting from the development new build and refurbishment programme. Our aim is to carry out the right repair at a time that suits the customer, in a way which ensures that the customer only has to contact us once in relation to their enquiry. Our ambitious growth plans require robust systems to manage the delivery of the development programme. The role will involve working with project managers to keep the development database up to date and provide reports to internal and external partners. The role will involve liaising with Pobl Group companies on future handovers, ensuring all the relevant information is provided, it will also involve attending the handover of new and refurbished homes. Who are we looking for? As part of our commitment to the communities we serve, we work closely with our developer partners to provide “added value” through our building contracts. In conjunction with the project manager and developer you will be required to collate, report and present this information to the Welsh Government. As a progressive organisation we will encourage you to identify areas to improve delivery through streamlining processes, working practices and systems. In conjunction with our Commercial Team you will assist in promoting new build and refurbishment schemes and initiatives within our local authority area. You will also provide administrative support to the Development Team. What skills and experience do you need? A background in Customer Services is essential, and experience in a similar role or from a housing and development background would be preferred. However, if you feel you have the transferable skills from another job, please demonstrate it in your application. Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment is beneficial as you will be multi- tasking and working under pressure. Full training will be provided but you should have good communication skills, be IT literate, able to multi task and work under pressure, and possess a desire to help people.
