Education Support Officer (Primary)
Job description
Permanent Full Time 37.00 hours per week
We are currently looking for an Education Support Officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will work within the context of the Education, Leisure and Life long Learning Support plan for schools, the council’s strategic objectives and other key local and national strategic planning documents, to promote school improvement across key stages.
To build capacity within schools to maximise the learning potential of all pupils.
To support and challenge schools to support quality provision and improved standards of wellbeing.
To be an Education Support Officer for a designated group of primary schools.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a wide range of activities which make up the priorities for the school support service (i.e. Curriculum reform, evolving teaching, leadership, professional learning, being a lead for national programmes such as Camau).
This post requires Experience of successful Headship. The post will start on January 1st 2025.
