This role is pivotal in driving the successful delivery of large-scale healthcare IT initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of EPR systems to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, leadership, and hands-on expertise to manage complex projects in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Programme Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery of healthcare IT programmes, with a focus on EPR implementation and optimization. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to understand requirements, align objectives, and ensure smooth adoption of EPR systems. Project Governance: Establish governance structures, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with programme delivery. Team Management: Build and lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and a results-driven culture. Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to senior leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and key outcomes. Compliance: Ensure all programme activities align with healthcare regulations, data protection standards, and organizational policies. Key Requirements Essential: Proven experience as a Programme Manager in healthcare, delivering EPR or similar large-scale digital health initiatives. Strong knowledge of EPR systems, healthcare IT standards, and integration processes. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams across clinical and technical domains. Demonstrated expertise in managing budgets, timelines, and resources for complex programmes. Familiarity with healthcare compliance, such as NHS Digital standards (for UK roles) or equivalent local regulations. Desirable: Formal project/programme management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, PMP). Experience working in [specific healthcare settings, e.g., hospitals, community health, etc.].
