Requirements:
1. Membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Intermediate Level (NVQ Level 3) or equivalent professional qualification.
2. OR Membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Foundation Level (NVQ Level 2) or equivalent professional qualification and a minimum of one year’s experience in a related financial administration environment.
3. OR 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths or equivalent educational qualifications and a minimum of one year’s experience in a related financial administration environment.
4. OR A minimum of two years’ experience in a related financial administration environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
2. Manage staff expense claims, including validation and input into payroll systems.
3. Coordinate with various Shared Service Centres for financial operations.
4. Support financial record-keeping by preparing journal entries, including accruals and prepayments.
5. Resolve payment-related queries from both internal and external stakeholders, providing expert advice as needed.
Working Hours:
1. Band 3 - working hours can either be 2 days per week or 3 days per week 9 -5.
