Description
- Act as the role model in safety behavior, driving a safety-first culture.
- Lead and manage all maintenance activities across the site.
- Focus on continuously driving and executing maintenance improvements to increase overall maintenance effectiveness and efficiency.
Specific focus will be to:
- Provide leadership in the application of all safety systems and processes (e.g., PTW, confined spaces, risk assessment, PPE, work at height).
- Provide leadership to the maintenance teams, driving engagement.
- Deliver site maintenance service within agreed budget levels.
- Design and execute the maintenance strategy.
- Design, execute, and oversee continued improvement in maintenance practices using the following framework:
- Maintenance plans based on equipment criticality.
- Spare parts inventory aligned to criticality.
- Support the CAPEX planning process.
- Delivery of the yearly plan, on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory commitments.
- Drive energy reduction programs.
- Scope, cost, and manage all service contracts.
Profile
- Experience as a Maintenance Manager within a manufacturing environment.
- Project management experience essential.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of paper mill activities and functions.
- Be adaptable and flexible.
- Ability to perform under pressure and in stressful situations.
- Must have a positive 'can do' attitude.
- In-depth understanding of engineering principles.
- Experience in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, purchasing systems, and document control.
- Engineering Degree or equivalent with 5+ years' work experience in a similar role.
Job Offer
£55,000 to £65,000 plus package.
