Job Description:
We're looking for a Senior Pension & Payroll Administrator to join our HR Shared Services Team based in Rushden.
Location: Rushden - hybrid working available, with travel to the office required 1-2 days per week
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Pension and Payroll Administrator, you'll work within the HR Shared Services Team, leading and coordinating the delivery of an efficient and effective pension and payroll finance service that is customer-focused and provides value for money. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to understand all business requirements to support service delivery across the wider team.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Delivering the pension and payroll finance service in accordance with Kier corporate strategies and policies, ensuring that business requirements are met.
* Ensuring the delivery of excellent service in line with contractual commitments and building long-lasting customer relationships.
* Providing support and working closely with the team to assist in service delivery and team outcomes, ensuring a coordinated approach. Attending and participating in management meetings, contributing ideas, and resolving issues as they arise.
* Being responsible for the development and performance of the Pension and Payroll Finance administrators. Developing skills and knowledge, implementing, and regularly reviewing performance targets at team and individual levels, with processes in place to monitor progress.
What are we looking for?
This role is ideal if you:
* Hold a CIPP qualification or possess some formal payroll qualification.
* Have experience in a similar role.
* Have strong knowledge of Defined Contributions, Defined Benefit, and Public Sector (including LGPS and NHS) pension schemes.
* Have an excellent understanding of Auto-Enrolment (including re-enrolment) rules and Annual & Lifetime Allowance legislation.
