Job summary The Clinical Staffing Assistant will be responsible to the Clinical Staffing Team Leader, for ensuring the continuity of service provision by coordinating cover and rotas for the Department's Consultants, SpR's, Specialty Doctors, Resident Medical staff. The role involves recording, monitoring and identification of gaps in staffing levels including annual leave, study leave, and other unplanned absence, to ensure continuity of service. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, who will enjoy working in a busy environment and is a team player. Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for monitoring all medical rotas associated with the Divisions of Medicine and Urgent & Emergency Care, across all sites. The post holder is required to complete all the administrative duties associated with the rotas. The post holder is required to ensure that any gaps which threaten service delivery / provision are appropriately escalated to the Clinical Staffing Team Leader.
