Role: Communications and Events Officer Salary: £26,000 per annum Location: Guildford, Surrey Hours: 37.5 hours per week You will be responsible for: Feeding into and implementing communication plans that align with the organisation's objectives. Writing and editing engaging content for various platforms, including newsletters, social media, and press releases. Building and maintaining relationships with local media contacts to promote events and initiatives. Organising and executing events, from conception to completion, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to foster relationships and enhance community involvement. Ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all communications and events. Tracking the effectiveness of communication efforts and events, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement. Implementing effective stewardship plans. Ensure all individuals that interact with halow project across our platforms and events are taken on a positive supporter journey with halow. Overseeing event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution. Demonstrable experience of working in office administration support roles and working to deadlines. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and smartphone apps including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. An excellent standard of verbal and written English with an ability to communicate with people of all abilities. An understanding of the Fundraising Code of Practise. Enthusiastic, skilled, and confident communicator. Aged 18 and above Right to work in the UK Please note we are currently unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
