Electrical Supervisor
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
We've got a great role available for an Electrical Supervisor to join our client's team on a high-end, critical commercial property based in Hertfordshire! This is a great role to gain further supervisor/lead experience on an impressive site, work closely with an experienced team of Maintenance Engineers, and you'll be given the opportunity to gain High Voltage training!
In this role, you will be responsible for a team of Maintenance Engineers, carry out PPM and Reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems on site, ensure all log books are updated regularly, book in subcontractors, and hold regular meetings with the client on site to ensure they are satisfied with the service provided. This is a static role, following a fixed schedule of Monday - Friday, 8 - 5.
Job Duties:
1. Organising on-site engineering team with daily PPMs and ensuring the SLAs are met.
2. Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
3. Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity, and best practice methods.
4. Organising subcontractors.
5. Completing logbooks and RAMS.
6. Reports.
7. Conducting client meetings.
8. Ensuring the account manager is kept up to date on a regular basis.
9. Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
10. Permits to work; raise and close jobs on PDAs as necessary.
Job Requirements:
1. Fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent).
2. At least 5 years experience in commercial maintenance.
3. Experience in either data centres or site shutdowns/switching - Desirable, not essential.
4. Experience leading a team of engineers - Desirable, not essential.
5. Client-facing attitude.
Salary and Package:
1. £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
2. High Voltage training provided.
3. Valuable experience on a critical site for a highly renowned building service provider.
4. Monday - Friday, 8 - 5.
