Management Accountant
Location: Ashington or Durham
Contract: Full time – Permanent.
Hours: Full Time – 37 per week.
Salary: £45,877 per annum (inclusive of April 2025 pay award).

About the role:
Joining our Regional and National award-winning finance team, the Management Accountant will support the Finance Reporting Team. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
* Timely and quality preparation of management information for the Group, including management accounts, budget variance analysis, budget profiling, reforecasting, and financial regulatory returns.
* Effective and efficient management of all of the Group’s accounting records in line with statutory obligations and current accounting requirements.
* Provision of effective and efficient management information to the Group.
* Ensuring excellent support services are delivered across all Group departments and external customers, including companies under the Group’s management.
About you:
You’ll need:
* A recognised professional accounting qualification or suitable experience.
* To be self-driven and motivated to succeed.
* Excellent skills relating to written and verbal communication, report writing, time management, and problem solving.
* To be able to act as a key member of the Reporting Team, demonstrating leadership, ownership, responsibility, accountability, influence, and commitment.
* A customer-focused and objective-oriented approach.
