Assistant Site Manager!

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join our clients friendly team in Suffolk.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Site Manager in coordinating trades and directing labour and materials to meet the production schedule.
Collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure attendance at regular Build/Sales meetings, adherence to all Build/Sales procedures, and inspections of show homes.
Take on responsibilities as determined by the Site Manager and deputise as needed.
Support the Site Manager in ensuring the on-site construction team is well-resourced and directed, with clear job responsibilities.
Provide support to site workers in fulfilling their job responsibilities through effective communication, training, development, and managing site workload and resources.
Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with company guidelines.
Implement and adhere to Safety, Health, and Environment policies and procedures, along with legal requirements and best practices.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the construction process and ensure successful project completion, delivering enhanced value to both the client and the company.
About You
NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Management or equivalent.
CSCS – Gold Supervisor.
SMSTS certification.
First Aid at Work qualification.
Basic Scaffold Inspection (CISRS).
BREGS certification or willingness to complete during the probationary period.
Fire Safety for low-rise flats and housing certification, or willingness to achieve during probation.
Environment Supervision in Construction Training – SSP (SEATS).
Experience working to established build programmes.
Proven ability in coordinating and supervising a site-based labour force.
Track record of meeting delivery targets within residential development.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in response to changing business needs.
In-depth knowledge of all aspects of the construction trade and relevant legislative requirements, including Health and Safety, NHBC standards, and Building Regulations.
Good understanding and experience in addressing customer service issues.
Proficient IT skills, including Office, Word, and Excel.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Salary - £45,000 to £50,000 + Package
