Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our team in the Westbury and Warminster area. This role offers 30 hours per week, providing essential support and care to individuals in need within our community.
* Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation
* Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their well-being and independence
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
* Implement person-centred care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences
* Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
* Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities when required
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures
* Progression to help with the On-Call rota 1 week a month

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred)
* Previous experience in care work, particularly with elderly or disabled individuals (preferred)
* Strong communication skills with ability to build rapport with clients and their families
* Proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping purposes
* Understanding of person-centred care principles and practices
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as part of a fortnightly rota
* Compassionate, patient, and supportive nature with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on clients' lives
