Your role in a nutshell
This is a 6 month secondment, based on hybrid working with two days a week in our office in Brighton. The Trading Co-Ordinator is a customer orientated, commercially savvy operator who can support the Trading team to drive profitable revenue for The Body Shop across all our channels with a key focus on Retail Stores in the UK. Primarily focused on excellent execution of the trade plan in Retail Stores, the Trading Co-Ordinator will manage the loading of Trade promotions into the UK till system (RMS) and ensure that promotions 'ring' correctly in each and every store.
More about the role
* Responsible for ensuring that all trade promotions are loaded accurately and on a timely basis into the till system (RMS) and for setting up T&C's for all promotions
* Key point of contact in issue resolution for when promotions are not working as they should in the tills
* Full management of the team’s email account to support store and customer queries
* Responsible for actioning price changes and resolving queries around prices
* Maintains the UK market assortment list with new products and discontinuations
* Draws upon their commercial and analytical skills to support the Trading team with reporting needs and insights for various aspects of the business including the trading plan across all channels and Gift Cards
* Completes critical administrative tasks in setting up events, and ensures visibility of promos through updating Trade Updates and Storeforce
* The role will report into the UK Assistant Commercial Manager
What we look for
Ideally we are looking for someone with proven experience in Retail.
Applicants will need strong commercial acumen and a high attention to detail.
Excel skills are desirable.
