PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
*Experience F&B operator with experience working within the hotel sector required*
TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Supervise service and waitstaff and service guests in the lounge restaurant & bar & meeting & events to maximise satisfaction and profitability*
* Ensure guests receive quality service by providing work direction for staff
* Supervise waiting staff verifying that their workstations are stocked neat and orderly
* Ensure F&B outlets are ready for guests by checking overall condition of areas regularly
* Ensure F&B outlets are in neat and orderly condition at all times
* Provide guests with quality service by monitoring staff assignments and responsiveness
* Perform all service duties of F&B outlets
* Coach staff to achieve F&B and M&E revenue goals
* Actively push high profit food and drink items, and inform staff of such to increase sales
* Greets and seats guests, and makes sure that they receive prompt, courteous and efficient service
* Seek appropriate opportunities to communicate with guests to personalise the F&B service
* Ensure readiness and compliance among all staff
* Utilise supervisory skills, effective communication, and motivation to maximise employee productivity and satisfaction
* Undertake relevant administrative tasks e.g. preparing rotas, distribution of tips, managing the wage planner and communications with Financial Controller twice weekly
* Communicate daily with head chef and front office manager
* Assist with F&B related projects to improve service, increase revenue
