An exciting opportunity has arisen for a position within the Medical Equipment Management Service at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh, to support the delivery of a medical equipment management service.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, conscientious and technically capable individual able to join a team providing medical equipment management services within NHS Lothian. Based at the Western General Hospital, you will provide technical support as part of a team carrying out service and repair work on a wide range of medical devices. You will be qualified to SCQF level 8, or higher, in an electrical/electronic discipline, or have equivalent training and experience. We are looking for applicants who are self-motivated and able to work effectively within a team to ensure the day-to-day running of the service. Good interpersonal skills are essential, as is a flexible and methodical approach to the required tasks. This post may involve travelling and working at various hospitals and clinics in Lothian.
The Medical Equipment Management service has a track record of developing staff to enhance career opportunities. With a clear focus on quality and patient services, you will join an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team providing an equipment management service for a wide range of medical equipment. You will work across many clinical specialities, supporting the delivery of world-class healthcare at four acute hospital sites and within the local healthcare community.
