As a Multi Trade Operative, you will be an essential part of the team, working on a variety of tasks from carpentry to plumbing and tiling. You will operate across multiple sites, ensuring high-quality workmanship is delivered efficiently and safely.,
* Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and plastering tasks
* Complete work to a high standard, adhering to all safety guidelines
* Operate independently and manage time effectively across multiple job sites
* Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently
* Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues
* Use company-provided van to travel to and from sites and work
What will you be doing?
* Completing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks within empty and occupied homes such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, bricklaying and decorating to a high standard and in line with Council standards and specification whilst delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Using an electronic personal digital assistant device to receive and record work
* Maintaining appropriate van stock and ensuring orders are placed with in-house stores team and comply with the specifications.
* Use initiative to complete tasks where appropriate.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Multi Trade Operative with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently. You will have:
* Proven experience in multiple trade disciplines.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A polite and approachable manner.
* High attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
* A valid UK driving license.
* A 'can-do' attitude and self-motivation.
* Qualified to an NVQ level 2 in at least 1 core trade or by at least 2 year's on-site experience.
* Experience working in residential maintenance and repairs works environment would be very advantageous.
