The Role
This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile litigation cases in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with partners, senior associates, and legal professionals to deliver outstanding results for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing litigation cases, working closely with senior lawyers and legal teams.
* Leading and supervising teams of paralegals and other professionals to efficiently progress large-scale claims.
* Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and case materials for court proceedings.
* Addressing data and evidentiary issues to support case strategy.
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Conducting legal research and preparing detailed reports.
* Providing strategic input on case management and procedural matters.
* Assisting with training and mentoring junior legal professionals.
Person Specification
* Qualified solicitor with 6-8 years PQE.
* Strong background in high-value litigation, ideally with experience in group litigation.
* Commercially aware with an understanding of key legal and business considerations.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle novel legal challenges.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust with colleagues and clients.
* Highly motivated, able to manage multiple workstreams, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
* Previous experience supervising trainees or paralegals is desirable.
