THE COMPANY\n\n * \n\n Global multi-disciplinary consultancy considered to be in the Top 4 Data Centre companies of Northern Europe.\n\n * \n\n Impressive Central London office close to numerous major transport links.\n\n * \n\n Very well-established mission critical division that are winning some of the leading projects in the market.\n\nTHE ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n * \n\n The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work on the project whilst adhering to strict deadlines and budgets, whilst providing mechanical service designs at RIBA stages on projects locally and internationally.\n\n * \n\n The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will chair recurrent meetings with entirety of design team, supporting the project delivery.\n\n * \n\n The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design of the mechanical building systems including air conditioning, heating, natural and mechanical ventilation and building controls.\n\n * \n\n The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be pivotal in the company's long-term progression.\n\n * \n\n The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will chair client meetings, managing expectations to ensure delivery to a time and a budget.\n\n * \n\n The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will ensure the delivery of early-stage designs, with a large focus on RIBA stages 2 to 4.\n\nSKILLS AND BACKGROUND\n\n * \n\n Qualified to a bachelor’s degree (BEng) or higher (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.\n\n * \n\n Experience with undertaking HVAC designs, with a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in various complex projects within a consultancy is essential.\n\n * \n\n The Senior Mechanical Engineer will ideally have experience of designing into Revit MEP.\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication skills.\n\n * \n\n Demonstrate commitment to supporting the professional development of less experienced staff, by effective mentoring and coaching of less experienced staff.\n\n * \n\n No prior Data Centre experience.\n\nBENEFITS\n\n * \n\n Flexible work: 2 days at the office 3 days from home.\n\n * \n\n Help with Chartership.\n\n * \n\n Healthcare allowance.\n\n * \n\n 23 days annual leave rising to 28 days annual leave over 5 years’ service\n\n * \n\n Holiday purchase and buy back scheme\n\n * \n\n Contributory company pension scheme\n\n * \n\n Non-contractual bonus awards\n\n * \n\n Training sponsorship
