Unity5 is a leading provider of SaaS solutions for the parking and traffic management sector in the UK. Our comprehensive product suite enables both public and private sector organisations to efficiently monitor and manage traffic and mobility services.
Founded in Exeter in 2010 and headquartered nearby, Unity5 specialises in enforcement and permitting software for private parking companies and local authorities. Our solutions support the management of parking, traffic, and environmental regulations. The demand for efficient software solutions in this industry has grown significantly due to increasing automation, digitisation, and evolving regulatory frameworks that introduce greater complexity for operators.

* Recognise and implement appropriate coding patterns while mitigating poor practices.
* Follow established development processes, propose improvements, and embrace change.
* Communicate effectively between the development team, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
* Foster a collaborative and agile working environment with a focus on team synergy.
* Provide technical insights during project planning and take ownership of deliverables.
* Embrace a learning mindset, applying a “fail fast” approach and iterating on feedback.
* Offer guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
* Experience with Python and/or Java (preferred but not essential).

* Private medical insurance.
* Enhanced maternity and paternity leave.
* A holiday allowance that increases with long service.
